Position: Administrative & Client service position

Location: Newmarket

Responsible to Managing partner & partners, duties to include

Office & practice management, 

Office administration (see list)

Telephone, email & reception services

Practice administration 

Management of our time/billing system

Client services, duties to include: some duties shared

Client planning and scheduling

Client engagement services (caseware)

Client correspondence

Contact management system

Telephone, email & reception services

Delivery of services using electronic means (client portal)

Tax administrative services, some duties shared 

Planning & coordinating our personal, corporate & special tax services

Processing returns (Profile)

Follow up enquires with Canada Revenue Agency

Coordinating & directing client enquires

Marketing and client development – 

Managing our client portal site

Managing our Web site

Introduction and training for social media

Preparation of marketing material for new services

Follow up with clients on existing and new services

Skills and abilities

Proficient in Micro office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook

General IT knowledge, use of computer, digital storage

Excellent interpersonal skills 

Excellent organization and communication skills

Internet understanding and use

Social media understanding and use

Ability to multi task & prioritize partner & staff requirements

Training will be provided for:

Time/Billing system

CaseWare Engagement system

Profile tax program

Basic tax knowledge

IT and computer training

Hours of work

Preferred 9:00 to 3:00 Monday to Friday

Hours will expand in busy season (Feb/Mar/Apr)
