Executive Business Developer/Recruiter



Levert Executive is the largest recruitment agency in Northern Ontario with offices in North Bay, Sudbury and Timmins. We now have an office in St. John’s, Newfoundland!  Our client base is made up of small, medium and multinational organizations. We have been successfully serving clients and candidates for over 25 years.




  • Must be a local resident of Newfoundland and have connection to the mining / oil and gas industry
  • Post secondary education in HR or in Business Administration considered great assets
  • Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of recruiting experience
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in an industrial setting
  • Bilingualism considered an asset
  • Must have strong sales ability and attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have conflict resolutions skills in dealing with candidates and clients
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently
  • Must have basic knowledge of provincial labour laws
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and computer literacy are essential



Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing the executive recruitment division and gaining new clients
  • Building client and candidate relationships
  • Maintain a sufficient database of candidates to meet current and future client needs
  • Prepare job advertisements to attract high quality candidates
  • Interview candidates to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills to determine suitability for job opportunities both present and future
  • Coordinate reference and background checks on candidates
  • Collect candidate information to be input into the candidate file
  • Communicate effectively with candidates regarding employment opportunities, job descriptions and client details as well as maintaining professional relationships
  • Record all communication with clients and candidates
  • Fill client orders with qualified candidates which meet the skills, experience and expertise requirements as outlined in the client job order
  • In coordination with the Executive Manager, determine client satisfaction with candidates and services as well as determine solutions to improve services
  • Conduct resume searches and pre-screen candidates
  • Contact candidates to ensure that their placements are successful
  • Participate in job fairs and other networking events as deemed necessary
